Installation : 2 projections of 2 synchronized digital films, 9 photocryl paintings on canvas (80 x 120 cm each), u.v light, variable size

Screen Paintings est une installation qui fond entres elles certaines notions du cinéma et de la peinture : une toile peinte devient écran, la lumière d’une projection se mélange à des formes colorées par une source lumineuse, tandis que les mots d'un poème de Baudelaire s’animent sur la toile: des vers prémonitoires qui annonçent, vingt cinq ans avant son invention, le Cinématographe. Screen Paintings is an installation which melts certain notions of film and painting into one another: a painted canvas becomes a screen, the light of a projection mingles with the coloured forms from a light source, while words of a poem by Baudelaire come to life on a canvas: the premonitory lines which announced the cinematograph, twenty-five years before its invention. (1)
