La Cabane de projection est une construction (sculpture? grande maquette d’architecture? décor?) qui contient plusieurs « moments » de la fabrication d’un film. Elle est d’abord décor par sa fausse épaisseur et la présence de béquilles caractéristiques. Elle évoque ensuite le tournage par le matériau utilisé, des gélatines de couleur, habituellement employées pour éclairer les prises de vue (orangé comme couleur d’intérieur, et bleu comme couleur d’extérieur). Elle convoque également la projection cinématographique par le dessin même de la cabine et par la présence de sa maquette, comme une projection de son image réduite.

The Projection Cabin is a construction (sculpture? large architectural model? set?) which contains several “moments” from the making of a film. It is firstly a set, thanks to its false depth and the presence of its typical struts. It then evokes a film shoot, thanks to the materials in use, colour gels, generally used to lighten shots (orange for an interior colour, and blue for an exterior colour). It also suggests a film projection, through the very design of the cabin, and the presence of its scale model, as the projection of a reduced image.
